With medically supervised weight loss, you are guided and monitored by a multispecialty care team. We start by listening to you, to better understand you and your health goals. Then, we create a personalized weight-loss plan that is right for you. The goal isn’t to just help you lose weight. Your care team works with you to improve your health and reduce your risk for chronic conditions— including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, joint pain and more.

At your first appointment, you meet with a member of your care team. You may also have laboratory tests, if required. During this visit, we talk about healthy weight-loss options and may recommend:

• Nutrition counseling
• Physical activity

After your first visit, our team will work with you to build a personalized weight management strategy, and may schedule appointments with other specialists.
