Multispecialty care team for urologic cancer

A cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming. But you’re not alone. You have a multispecialty care team dedicated to your care. We specialize in men’s health and offer personalized treatment options for prostate, bladder and testicular cancer and other urologic conditions. Urologists also provide care for men and women diagnosed with bladder cancer.

At Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital, your cancer care team may include urologists and urogynecologists. At regular meetings, your care team will review your care plan and monitor your progress. We focus on care to help improve your pelvic health. As part of our multispecialty team approach to cancer care, we also provide other supportive care services, such as pelvic physical therapy. If you are interested in participating in cancer care clinical trials, ask your oncologist to discuss your options. We can work to help connect you to ongoing clinical trials that may be right for you.

Benefits of our approach to cancer care

You’ll find a healing place to renew your body, mind and spirit. Our cancer center is on the campus of Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in southwest Baltimore. And our network of cancer specialists extends throughout Baltimore County, Catonsville, Columbia and Laurel, Maryland.

When you choose us, you have an entire team dedicated to your care and connecting the dots for you. For more information about cancer services, call 667-234-2918.

We offer a range of services on our campus, with convenient valet parking. Transportation to and from appointments can be arranged for you. Our oncology care teams work together to help make your appointments as easy and coordinated as possible.

Urologists at our cancer center are trained urologic surgeons. They use minimally invasive surgery techniques when possible to remove a tumor, which may help shorten your recovery after surgery.

Our care team provides genetic tests associated with prostate cancer. Telehealth genetic testing and counseling is now available. Our genetic nurse coordinator schedules your genetic tests and coordinates a consultation with a telehealth genetic consultant from the convenience of your home.

Depending on your overall health, diagnosis and type of cancer, your care plan may include:

  • Bone health consultations
  • Chemotherapy
  • Hormone replacement therapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Pelvic reconstructive surgery
  • Pelvic physical therapy
  • Radiation therapy
  • Surgical oncology procedure
