The inpatient Eating Disorders unit at Ascension Saint Joseph - Chicago is a highly-specialized, 12 private-bed inpatient psychiatric unit for the care of adult patients 18 years and older struggling with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED). Patients benefit from structured and supported:
- Case management services with a focus on disposition and aftercare planning
- Group, individual, family, and milieu therapy (group therapy for mental health issues)
- Meals and snacks
