Parent Education: Breastfeeding Class

We encourage you to participate and enjoy this special time in your life and the development of your baby:

• Genesys helps expectant mothers prepare for breastfeeding, early breastfeeding in the hospital, nutrition, nursing at home and problem-solving.
• New moms will also be given instructions on how to pump and store breast milk.
• The class is approximately 2 1/2 hours long.

Register for classes as early as possible. Ideally, classes should be taken during the dates of when you are 32-34 weeks gestation. Register under the expectant mother's name. A support person is encouraged to attend with you and is included with the expectant mother's registration.

You will receive a confirmation email with the directions to the class room. Please read it thoroughly.

Registrant's insurance will be billed $35.00. Any amount not covered by insurance will be the registrant's responsibility. The billing codes are ICD Z32.2 and CPT code S9943
