Respiratory Round Up for Respiratory Therapist caring for neonates in the Labor & Delivery and Nursery settings


This Respiratory Therapist focused 1-day program provides key concepts related to neonatal care. Using a mixed learning format, attendees will participate in didactic sessions, skills sessions, and simulations focused on stabilization and ongoing care of infants born at 32 weeks gestation or greater as well as emergent stabilization measures for infants needing transfer to a higher level of care. Topics include care of the late preterm infant, common respiratory disorders of the neonate, respiratory management in the delivery room and after, airway management, and more. This class is intended for Respiratory Therapists caring for neonates in the labor and delivery and nursery settings.

Completing this course does not authorize the participant to add any skill discussed in the content to your practice if this function is not included in your current scope of practice. This course does not validate competency on any skills contained.
