Having some tools to increase your knowledge PLUS safety for your baby can help a lot of expectant and new parents feel a little less anxious about the big new job of parenting. This class is led by an American Red Cross Certified instructor and will teach you some important safety strategies for a little more peace of mind.

Breastfeeding Success (BFS) is offering the Infant CPR & Safety PLUS Newborn Care class In-person at a Breastfeeding Success outpatient clinic in AUSTIN, TX.
PLEASE NOTE: This class does not qualify for insurance coverage. It is self-pay only.

Taught by a Red Cross certified instructor and LC or newborn care specialist.
This class is perfect for expectant parents, grandparents, and other infant caregivers.
Class topics will include:
- Infant CPR and Choking. Practice with infant mannequins.
- Car seat safety
- Safe infant sleep preparation
- Safe baby wearing techniques
- Heat stroke prevention
- PLUS
- A little about infant feeding and sleep (we have more in depth classes on both of these topics)

This is not a certification class, but many families report feeling much more confident after taking it.

Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend with you at no additional charge or registration.
You will receive an email confirmation upon your online enrollment. Our in-person classes are limited in size and fill up quickly. There will be a $25 cancellation fee for no-shows unless the cancellation is made at least 3 business days prior to the start of the class or if a class is cancelled by the site.
