Discover the benefits of breastfeeding! Designed for women in the seventh to eighth month of pregnancy, this lactation support class sets you and your newborn up for success. Sharing the latest breastfeeding tips and basics, your instructor will answer your questions and address any concerns. By the end of class, you’ll be ready to get started and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime bonding experience with your baby.

Key topics include:

  • Latching and positioning
  • Troubleshooting common breastfeeding problems
  • How to recognize if your baby is getting enough milk
  • Breast milk storage
  • Ways to increase breast milk supply
  • Healthy eating while breastfeeding

This in-person class for patients delivering at Ascension Resurrection Medical Center or an Ascension Hospital. It is held on the campus of Ascension Resurrection Medical Center Chicago in Marion Hall, in the Sister Gregory conference room. You may enter through entrance 2. Take the N elevators to the ground floor. When exiting the elevators make a right and then a left into the conference rooms hallway. Sister Gregory will be on the right. If a room change occurs an email will be sent to the email provided at registration.

Registration includes both baby's mother and her partner.
