CERT North Ambulatory Back Office Training

CERT Department North Presents: Back Office with HIPAA / OSHA & Armed Intruder / Active Shooter Training

CERT Ambulatory Back Office Training is required before any Ascension Medical Group St. John Associate may administer injections and any other medication and before performing phlebotomy.

Training includes but is not limited to a review of basic back office skills such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKG lead placement, oxygen administration, various types of injections, dosage calculation, introduction to CLIA and autoclave training. It also includes HIPAA / OSHA training, therefore, there is no need to enroll in a separate HIPAA / OSHA class.

The curriculum of this two day course is geared toward Medical Assistants, LPNs and RNs. It is required of all new Ascension Medical Group St. John clinical back office associates participating in direct patient care.

Contact the CERT Department at 918-403-7136 for all cancellations and/or rescheduling needs. Classroom space is limited so please let us know ahead of time if an associate is unable to attend a class so that space can be opened up to another associate. Associates must be screened and be in good health to take any face to face course. Any associate found in questionable health may be asked to reschedule into later class.

If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
