his comprehensive program, offered by the St. Vincent Center for Perinatal Loss, provides insights, knowledge and hands-on experience to gain the skills necessary to interact with families experiencing perinatal loss. Participants hear directly from parents who have experienced a perinatal loss as well as from professionals who care for these families. Other topics covered include grief theory, interdisciplinary approaches, creating memories, follow-up procedures and strategies for intervention. Each participant receives a “miscarriage envelope” which contains examples of support options for families experiencing a miscarriage. The course is open to health professionals and others who care for parents experiencing perinatal loss. If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
