Saturday Childbirth Class at St. Vincent's

Until the covid-19 restrictions are lifted all classes will be live classes online via Zoom. All Zoom invitations are sent out the Sunday before your class is scheduled. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it in your inbox.

Register normally and you will get an email the week of the class with a link on how to join the class.

Classes cover the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy, what to expect during labor and birth, labor support and Lamaze techniques, hospital routines, analgesia and anesthesia, medical interventions, Cesarean birth, and newborn procedures. Please be advised that registration covers mom plus one support person. Includes a tour of the Family Birth Place.
Class is from 9 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch.
Class fee is $60. If you are a St. Vincent's employee you may take the class for $40. Please email Doris from your ascension email as proof of discount. Medicaid patients may take the class for $20. Please email a screenshot of your Medicaid card before class date as proof of discount. You do not have to be a St. Vincent's patient to attend our childbirth classes.
