Alan Sacks, MD, is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Studer Family Children's Hospital Pediatric Gastroenterology in Pensacola, Florida. Dr. Sacks starts by listening to understand your child and their health. Then, she works with you to create a personalized care plan that is right for your child and your family.

As a pediatric gastroenterologist, Dr. Sacks treats children with conditions such as Crohn’s disease, celiac disease, reflux, Colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, acute or chronic abdominal pain, chronic constipation and diarrhea, pancreatic insufficiency (including cystic fibrosis) and pancreatitis, liver disease, food allergies and intolerances, nutritional problems and feeding disorders.

Dr. Sacks is fellowship-trained and board-certified in pediatric gastroenterology. He serves on the board of directors for the Medical Education Council of Pensacola and on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee for Ascension Sacred Heart. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Gastroenterological Association, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
