Melissa L. Welch, PhD, LMFT

Melissa Welch, PhD, LMFT, is a behavioral health therapist with Ascension Medical Group Sacred Heart. Welch is board-certified in mental health counseling and provides empathetic, quality, professional, and compassionate care to adults. Welch has a special interest in couples and family relationships and the influence of physical health conditions on mental health and well being. She strives to provide family-centered mental and behavioral health care using a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework and a systemic lens. Outside of the office, Welch enjoys spending time with her husband, trying new recipes in the kitchen and gardening.
