Nicholas B. Frisch, MD

Nicholas B Frisch, MD|MBA is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and his Masters in Medical Science from Loyola University in Chicago. He achieved his MD and MBA in Healthcare Management from Tufts University School of Medicine in Massachusetts. Dr. Frisch completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and he received his fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Frisch's practice focuses on minimally invasive hip and knee joint replacement and complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement. He commonly treats hip and knee arthritis. He utilizes efficient pain management pathways which allow for rapid recovery and a faster return to normal activity.

Clinical research is an important part of Dr. Frisch's practice and as a newly appointed Health Policy Fellow for the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) he is actively engaged in advocacy for his patients and the Orthopaedic community. He has earned the Top Doc 2020, 2021 and 2022 in Metro Detroit award by Hour Detroit and Business Magazine. Dr. Frisch was born and raised in Michigan and is proud to serve the community where he grew up. He believes in creating a personalized patient experience with the highest level of service.
