Don't delay important screenings, like lung cancer screenings

As a family medicine doctor at Ascension Wisconsin, I want to remind you to take time for annual visits and preventive screenings, including lung cancer screening.

Men and women who previously smoked heavily or who have smoked cigarettes within the last 15 years should talk with their doctor about an annual low-dose CT screening for lung cancer. Getting regular screenings may help find cancer early, when it is most treatable.

Start a conversation with a doctor about your family history, new symptoms and the screenings right for you based on your age and health history. We are ready to care for you and your family. Get the care you need at ascension.org.
