Patient Support Group

Although family and friends are often very supportive through a cancer journey, patients also find it greatly helpful to have support from individuals who truly know the cancer experience. Our support groups are a place to share the emotional journey of cancer, discuss concerns, share information, and provide peer support. If you are in need of emotional support along your cancer journey, and are interested in the camaraderie and peer support of a support group, please contact oncology social work at 248-465-5466.

Oncology Social Work Support

Wondering about available resources for yourself or a loved one during a cancer journey? In need of support for yourself or a loved one? Oncology social work services are available in Novi - Assistance is available with: transportation, community resources, emotional support, insurance, medications, and advocacy. Contact 248-465-5466 for assistance or to schedule an appointment.

Look Good...Feel Better

Sponsored by American Cancer Society - Look Good... Feel Better is a free program sponsored by the American Cancer Society in partnership with the National Cosmetology Association which helps women who are currently undergoing cancer treatment cope with appearance-related side effects including hair loss and changes in complexion and fingernails. It is offered in a group setting, with products generously donated by major cosmetic companies and is essentially a fun "make-over" session lead by a licensed cosmetologist. Please contact 248-465-5466 for dates/times and to register for the program.
