Part of Ascension Maryland, our services are available to you whether you are currently pregnant or contemplating pregnancy. Our perinatologists and genetic counselors can help you and your doctor manage or reduce possible pregnancy complications if you are affected by any of the following:
- Maternal age 35 years or greater at the time of delivery
- Previous pregnancy loss
- Increased risk of premature delivery
- Hypertensive, cardiac or autoimmune disease
- Diabetes
- Exposure to environmental toxins or potential harmful medications
- History of genetic disease such as sickle cell anemia, cystic fibrosis, Tay Sachs, etc.
