Advanced wound healing with hyperbaric oxygen therapy

The Ascension Sacred Heart Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is the only one in Northwest Florida accredited by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS).

The UHMS is an international professional organization that establishes standards of excellence and quality for hyperbaric medicine programs. Our center is one of only 75 facilities in the U.S. to receive full accreditation by the UHMS.

The hyperbaric chamber is a painless environment that delivers oxygen-rich therapy to promote wound healing. During hyperbaric oxygen therapy, concentrated oxygen quickly increases in your bloodstream and helps heal the wound from the inside out. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a treatment for other conditions in addition to diabetic foot ulcers and slow-healing wounds.

When hyperbaric oxygen therapy is recommended, our care team takes the time to answer your questions. Call (850) 416-2500.
