Dr. Roca is fellowship-trained and board-certified in pediatric cardiology. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Spring Hill College, and she received her medical degree and completed her pediatric residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Roca completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Tulane University and Ochsner Hospital for Children in New Orleans. Dr. Roca has more than 22 years of experience practicing in pediatric cardiology. Dr. Roca has been published in peer-reviewed journals and medical textbooks, and she has presented her research findings at the National Society of Pediatric Research annual meeting and at the American College of Cardiology annual meeting. Dr. Roca is a member of the American Heart Association's Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young, and she is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology. Since 2003, she has been named to the Best Doctors' Poll, a peer-selected recognition to identify the physicians other physicians trust. As a pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Roca diagnoses and treats congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
