Breast MRI screening

A breast MRI screening is an additional test which is available for women with dense breast tissue. For this test, you need to:

  • Be asymptomatic
  • Be at least 40 years old
  • Have an order from your physician
  • Have dense breast tissue
  • Have had a mammogram within the past 12 months
