Comprehensive care for your child’s heart
When cancer treatments adversely affect the heart, cancer therapy-related cardiovascular disease (CTRCD). We are with you and your child from the first visit for cancer care through survivorship. Our team of cardiovascular specialists helps prevent, diagnose, and manage heart conditions that may be linked to cancer therapies.
- Evaluation: Your child’s care begins with a comprehensive heart exam and imaging. We take the time to get to know your child and their health history.
- Multidisciplinary care: Your child has a team of heart and cancer specialists who work together to create a comprehensive care plan that’s right for your child. We partner closely with blood and cancer specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and personalized care throughout cancer treatment and survivorship.
- Treatment and support: Your child’s care plan may include medications, nutrition, lifestyle counseling, or other therapeutic interventions.
- Ongoing monitoring: We conduct regular check-ins to ensure your child’s heart health during and after treatment. Your child’s care plan changes as your child’s condition and needs change.
- On-site imaging and diagnostics: We provide advanced diagnostic imaging, such as echocardiograms and electrocardiograms, as needed to monitor your child throughout their treatment.
