At your first appointment, our care team conducts a mental health assessment that helps us understand what you need. During the assessment, we'll work together to create a treatment plan to address your needs. We strive to deliver care that is personalized and compassionate in a non-judgmental environment.
Pain management support
Serious and complex medical problems may affect your mental health and how you manage pain. Our behavioral health care team provides pain management support and coordinates care with your primary care doctor. If you are hypersensitive to pain or experience depression while recovering from heart surgery, intensive critical care or cancer therapy, we offer palliative care to help address your stress living with pain and a serious illness. We are sensitive to the needs of seniors and how aging, memory loss and dementia may affect your mental and emotional health. Working together, we deliver care that helps improve your quality of life.
Intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs
Our Ascension St. Vincent's Southside care team of psychiatrists, certified addiction specialists , licensed clinical social workers, and nurses deliver intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization care to adults. Our intensive-outpatient and partial-hospital programs then help you transition to outpatient counseling.
