As part of our work to keep patients and families safe, Ascension has updated the visitor plan at Dell Children’s. We continue to watch and update the plan to reduce the risks from coronavirus (COVID-19) and other yearly respiratory illnesses. During this time, visitors in the hospital will be limited. To provide a safe environment for our patients, families and staff, we ask visitors not to visit if they are exhibiting any symptoms of illness. Our goal is to keep everyone safe while caring for our patients and families.

Advanced care, when your child needs it
At Dell Children’s, our compassionate care teams are ready to care for your child. If you have a newborn who is premature or needs extra care, we have a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This means we deliver the highest level of care and surgery for newborn babies. For other emergencies, Dell Children’s is a Level I pediatric trauma Center, which means we deliver the highest-level pediatric emergency care possible. We know emergencies can be scary for kids, so we have kid-friendly waiting areas and exams rooms. Our doctors and care teams are specifically trained to deliver care for the unique needs of children.
Specialty pediatric care, close to home
At Dell Children’s, we know that the needs of children are different than adults. That’s why we have specialty care programs designed to meet the special needs of children.
