Since 2001, Ascension Seton has been providing evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment to adults aged 18 and over. Our intensive outpatient program provides structured group therapy 4 days a week, 3 hours a day for people struggling with mood disorders, trauma, and/or substance use that may be significantly impacting their ability to carry out their usual activities, such as going to work or school. Our expert providers help people develop coping skills to regain control of their life and hope for the future.
We offer groups in Austin and in Round Rock next to Seton Medical Center Williamson. Groups meet throughout the day and evening to provide scheduling flexibility for those who want to stay involved in school, work, or other activities while seeking treatment.
Ascension Seton Behavioral Health Care is proud to collaborate with the University of Texas at Austin to provide our intensive outpatient treatment programs to students enrolled in classes at the UT Austin campus. Being a student can be full of significant, exciting, but sometimes overwhelming changes and new responsibilities.
Our intensive outpatient program offers UT students an opportunity to learn effective ways to manage life changes, and set the stage for success in future endeavors. The program is designed for students who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues and other which may be significantly affecting their ability to carry out their everyday lives. They may be engaging in activities that place themselves or others at risk or harm.
