The new Ascension St. Vincent's Chilton opened in 2016. The 30-bed hospital is a full-service community facility providing general acute care and outpatient services, including a 24-hour emergency department, diagnostic imaging, inpatient and outpatient surgical services, critical care, wellness services, lab, gastroenterology services and a sleep disorder center. Other services offered are advanced imaging and diagnostic services, including x-ray, MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, bone density testing and stress testing. We offer more than 20 specialties from cardiology to general surgery and family medicine.

Parking and valet options

At Ascension St. Vincent’s Chilton, we offer convenient, free parking. Talk to your care team if you have transportation needs. If you are having a test or outpatient procedure, you may be entering at a specific entrance. Ask if you will need a designated driver to take you home. Please do not block or park at the ER entrance.

When you arrive at Ascension St. Vincent’s Chilton

Most of our entrances have a welcome desk with staff who will direct you to where you need to go. Once you arrive in one of our departments, our team will help you check in. Wheelchairs are available, if needed. During your check-in, our care team will:

  • Provide you with consent forms
  • Verify insurance coverage
  • Provide you with an identification band (for inpatient care)

Visitor policies

You may feel more comfortable bringing a family member or friend with you to the hospital. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Some departments, such as the ICU and MedSurg have additional visitor policies. If you are visiting our campus, we offer several dining options. Please do not bring food or beverages to a patient unless you speak with their nurse first. The cafeteria is open from 7-9:30 a.m. for breakfast, and 11a.m.-1:30 p.m. for lunch.
