CERT Ambulatory Safety Training is required of Managers, Coordinator and other leaders of an ambulatory clinic.
Training includes but is not limited to a review of basic safety requirements as set by the State, by OSHA, by Ascension policy and other regulating agencies for Ascension Health system. Clinic responsibilities and duties that should be delegated are reviewed. The Safety Book requirements are discussed to increase understanding of requirements.
New managers and coordinators are invited to the CERT Safety Information and Forms folder and training on how to use it is included in this session. The latest version of safety forms is also handed out at this training.
The location of training is based on the number of persons enrolled in the class. Normally training is done at a clinic but if the group is large, the training is conducted at the CERT Department classroom.
Contact the CERT Department for all cancellations and/or rescheduling needs. Classroom space is limited so please let us know ahead of time if an associate is unable to attend a class so that space can be opened up to another associate. Associates may be screened and must be in good health to take any face to face course. Any associate found in questionable health may be asked to reschedule into later class.
If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 2 business days (48 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
