We are here to provide you with accurate information and tools to help you cope through labor while feeling confident and respected in your choices for a powerful and positive birthing experience.
During this one day Saturday class we will discuss:
- Managing remaining pregnancy
- When to go to the hospital
- Stages of labor
- Positions for laboring at home and hospital
- How to support the laboring person: breathing, massage, relaxation, ect.
- Medical interventions: induction, intervention, pain management options
- Vaginal and Cesarean delivery
- Normal newborn behavior
- Caring for the new family after delivery
