Diabetes Prevention Program - Online

Join us to find out about this online (asynchronous) program.

Do you want to make lasting lifestyle changes but struggle to make the time to do it? Join us for this opportunity to make a group program fit into your busy schedule. This is an asynchronous program of the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Program. It focuses on healthy eating, physical activity, stress management, and weight loss and has been shown to reduce diabetes risk by 50-70%! This program will be ongoing for 1 year with weekly activities the first 6 months and monthly activities for the last 6 months of the program.


With this completely online platform, you will have the flexibility to participate in the weekly sessions and group discussion board at any time that is convenient for you. Weekly interaction and feedback will be provided by one of our Ascension health coaches and registered dietitians.


This program is free of cost to those who have been diagnosed with pre-diabetes or who self-screen to be at high risk by going to the following website: doihaverprediabets.org


Women who had Gestational Diabetes during a previous pregnancy qualify for this program.
