Tai chi for Energy - Part 1 : 8 week ~ 16 class course
Relax, refresh and revitalize in eight easy lessons with Tai chi for Health board certified instructor at Ascension Lourdes
Pre-requisite: Tai chi for Arthritis 12 forms
Tai Chi for Energy is comprised of two different tai chi styles, Chen and Sun. Chen style is vigorous and complex, integrating fast and slow movements with powerful spiral force. Sun style incorporates unique qigong (life energy) and has agile steps, incorporating powerful qigong movements for healing. These two seemingly contrasting styles have complementary internal energy.
This course was developed by Dr. Paul Lam. Using his deep understanding of tai chi principles and over 30 years of teaching experience, Dr. Lam has combined the two styles to create a unique synergy that gives you more energy than the sum of two styles. With regular practice and in a relatively short period of time, this program will improve your health and wellness, internal energy, and ability to manage stress.
We invite to explore this unique program at Ascension Lourdes. Our board certified tai chi for health instructor from tai chi for health institute will guide you, step-by-step, through each movement of the Tai Chi for Energy set as trained by it's creator and his master trainers of tai chi for health institute. You will learn the forms from different angles, with one on one close up coaching, repetitions and diagrams, while dividing each form into small sections so that you can follow along with ease. Throughout the lessons, the instructor will explain the tai chi principles and how to use them to improve your tai chi practice

Participation in the any of the ongoing tai chi classes requires an instructor approval
Participants are encouraged to attend all classes and to practice tai chi daily to gain the maximum health benefits of the program. Also, it is recommended that participants consult their physician before participating in a tai chi class.
