Tai Chi for Health - SUN 73 Instructional - Part 2

Tai Chi Journey - A mind-body exercise for better health : A Community Health and Wellness Program offered by Lourdes


Course offered for those who have completed the Tai chi for arthritis 32 movements and have mastered the core forms of the SUN 73. Classes are offered 2 days a week for 8 weeks, This class is to support your ongoing practice of tai chi and will be divided into 4 times 8-week session to complete the SUN 73 forms

Pre-requisite Class: TCA-32

Participants also need to know Tai chi for life forms, Tai chi for stress management and Tai Chi of Rehabilitation taught during Continuous 6 and Continuous 12 classes, and Tai Chi for heart and Rehab.

Each specific class is 8 weeks long that meets twice a week for a total of 16 classes.

Each class session leads to the next covering the sequence of 12 warm-ups, specific core movements, and 3 cool down forms.

The emphasis is on teaching the practice of tai chi principles through the forms, strengthening one's core, and improving one's posture, balance and stamina.

Registration fee is refundable only if we receive your registration cancellation prior to the start of the second class. The full price of the registration fee is expected once you have attended greater than 8 classes. In case of payment options, you are obliged to pay the entire fee,  after dropping out past the 6th class.   All cancellation requests should be emailed to or by calling the cancellation line 607-203-8098.  In the case of illness and attendance of fewer than 4 classes, you will be given a credit to attend the next session of classes.
