Are you expecting a Baby?
Are you interested in learning how infant massage can benefit your new baby and you as parents? Are you looking for ways to introduce an older brother or sister to the new baby?
Join certified Infant Massage Instructor and Pediatric Massage Therapist, Melanie Wattles RN , for a relaxed but informative class that will introduce you to Infant Massage and all it can offer.
During the class you will learn about the MANY benefits of infant massage, where and when to offer massage to your baby, what oils to use and hands-on massage strokes. Massage is a wonderful way to soothe your baby, create routines in your daily parenting life, and bond and connect with your newborn. Massage is a lovely way to introduce a sibling to a new baby and help them to adjust to their new baby. Nurturing touch can be a wonderful way to strengthen family bonds. This class is great for expectant parents, but also for grandparents, siblings, and caregivers.
Some parents choose to use a doll for demonstration and practice. We encourage you to take the class with a partner and practice the techniques on each other! It's a great way to learn and bond together while you're preparing to become parents.
If your baby has already been born, consider taking our Massage for Your Baby: Head to Toe class instead! You can find that class HERE.
