Having some tools to increase safety for your baby can help a lot of expectant and new parents feel a little less anxious about the big new job of parenting. This class is led by an American Red Cross Certified instructor and will teach you some important safety strategies for a little more peace of mind.

Breastfeeding Success (BFS) is offering the Keep it Safe: Infant CPR & Safety class virtually with a LIVE instructor OR In-person at a Breastfeeding Success Outpatient Clinic in Austin, TX. 

PLEASE NOTE:  The LIVE VIRTUAL version of this class does not qualify for insurance coverage. It is self-pay only. 

For the In Person class, BFS can not guarantee that class costs will be covered by your particular insurance plan, but your insurance might cover the cost of this service.  

Use Registration Code VERIFYINSURANCE for the IN PERSON CLASS ONLY if you have Aetna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthSmart or HEB Blue Cross Blue Shield, or ARC Employee Health Plan. 

Using this code means we will submit the claim to your insurance company. If the claim is rejected, you will be billed after the class and are responsible ONLY for costs not covered which will not exceed the $50 self-pay class fee.

This class is perfect for expectant parents, grandparents, and other infant caregivers.

Class topics will include:

• Infant CPR and Choking. Practice with infant mannequins.
• Car seat safety
• Safe infant sleep preparation
• Safe baby wearing techniques

This is not a certification class, but many families report feeling much more confident after taking it.
