Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice choking rescue! Skills taught include: safety skills, child care skills, first aid and rescue skills, along with life and business skills. Students should bring a packed lunch, or money to purchase lunch at the Bread Basket Restaurant. A brief ceremony concludes the class, and parents are encouraged to attend.
