Benjamin R. Plaisance, MD

Benjamin R. Plaisance, MD, MPH, FACC, is a doctor with Cardiology Specialists of Birmingham. Dr. Plaisance is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He provides individualized and personalized care to patients with a variety of conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. Dr. Plaisance has a special interest in hypertension, valvular heart disease and risk factor modification both before and after heart disease develops. He strives to provide cutting edge, invasive and non-invasive therapies with a patient-centered focus. Outside of the office, Dr. Plaisance enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, hiking, camping and traveling.
