Andrey A. Volkov, DO

Dr. Volkov is a neurosurgeon, providing care and treatments to patients suffering spinal tumors, neurotrauma, and degenerative spinal disease. In addition to general neurosurgery, he has a particular interest in treating degenerative disease in the spine, minimally invasive approaches to treatment of spinal disorders and using open techniques.Dr. Volkov earned his DO at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) and completed his residency at Michigan State University with a residency in Neurological Surgery at Sinai-Grace Hospital. Dr. Volkov completed a Surgical Neuro-Oncology Fellowship at the University of South Florida, H. Lee Mofitt Cancer Center, Tampa Florida where is main focus was surgical neuro-oncology (brain and spine), an emphasis on spinal instrumentation and degenerative disorders and reconstructive spine surgery. Dr. Volkov has also been trained in minimally invasive spinal procedures as well as pain management (RFA for tumors, ESI, spinal cord stimulator placement, Kyphoplasty procedures.Dr. Volkov's interests include spinal tumors and reconstruction, neurotrauma and critical care patients.
