Ascension St. Vincent gynecologic oncology is a leader in Indiana for the treatment of female cancers. Gynecologic cancer refers to the cancers of the female reproductive system (ovarian, cervical, uterine (endometrial), vulvar and leiomyosarcoma).

At Ascension St. Vincent Cancer Care the Gynecologic Oncology (GYN-ONC) Clinic provides diagnostic testing and treatment for women with non-cancerous gynecologic conditions and female cancer. Our board-certified GYN-oncology doctors and care team delivers compassionate, personalized care in a healing environment. Our highly experienced GYN-ONC team provides care for women with challenging and complex conditions using world-class treatments to improve recovery times and overall outcomes.

Our doctors are surgeons and specialize in:

  • Gestational trophoblastic diseases (rare tumors that develop in the uterus)
  • High-risk patients with a family history and genetic profile for ovarian and endometrial cancers

Throughout your journey, a dedicated patient navigator and our physician assistants are available by phone to get answers to your questions. Our patients are also supported by the Ascension St. Vincent Cancer Care Supportive Services and Survivorship Programs.

Our holistic team approach focuses on healing body, mind and spirit. Our care team is also a leader in educating women and primary care doctors about the early signs and risk factors for developing a GYN cancer. Women who are overweight or obese have a higher risk for GYN cancers.
