Highrisk Pregnancy Care Makes a Difference

In high-risk pregnancy or when an emergency arises, Sacred Heart has maternal-fetal medicine specialists and OB-GYN hospitalists.

Sacred Heart High-risk Pregnancy Center

The Sacred Heart Regional Perinatal Center focuses on high-risk pregnancy conditions. Prenatal testing can help your doctor determine whether your baby will need extra levels of care before, during and after delivery.

Our maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialist and genetic counselors have pre-conception and high-risk pregnancy experience expertise and provide advanced perinatal tests to diagnose and manage congenital disorders. They also work with the expectant mother who has an existing medical condition, like high blood pressure, gestational diabetes, or preeclampsia.

Various MFM satellite offices are in Northwest Florida and South Alabama. For women needing around-the-clock monitoring before the birth, our high-risk pregnancy unit at Sacred Heart Hospital

Pensacola provides a comfortable, soothing environment to manage the pregnancy concerns.

The NICU team prepares for these situations before the due date and is ready to stabilize and treat your newborn.

Sick Newborns Get Intensive Pediatric Specialty Care
