Heart and Vascular Health

Community-based Heart Care

In the Fox Valley and Oshkosh areas, our cardiologists and heart surgeons provide community-based heart care.

Cardiovascular Specialists

Our total care approach focuses on preventive heart care to reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke. We diagnose and treat all types of heart and vascular diseases bringing more options close to home. In the Ascension network, our cardiologists give you access to the latest medication and surgical treatments. For more information, call NurseDirect 1-800-362-9900.

Heart Flutter, AFib and Congestive Heart Disease

Your heart care team represents cardiology, vascular health and pulmonary care. Get the information you need to reduce your risk of heart attack or stroke. Our lifestyle consultation focuses on how to manage high blood pressure and high cholesterol (lipids).

While most adults with mild and moderate congestive heart failure are treated with conservative treatments, such as modified daily activities, proper diet, and medication, more advanced treatments are available, if needed.

Our cardiologists perform minimally invasive procedures to improve heart function. Using endovascular procedures, blocked arteries are opened to restore blood flow and improve circulation. Our interventional cardiologists are on-call at St. Elizabeth and Mercy Hospitals providing time sensitive treatments for unstable angina and heart attack. If you have a heart rhythm disorder, we work closely with specialists who treat atrial fibrillation (AFib) and other arrhythmias.

Expertise with Heart-saving Devices

The Impella device is the world’s smallest ventricular assist device (VAD). All our cardiovascular surgeons use this device in adults with decreased heart function. Other interventions include cardiocatedaizations and stenting, pacemakers, ICDs and ablation procedures without mapping.
