Screening Tests and Early Detection Matters at Sacred Heart

For the early detection of breast cancer, the Ann L. Baroco Center for Breast Health provides screening mammography, and high-tech breast imaging (3D mammography, breast MRI, and high-density breast ultrasound). Genetic blood tests and counseling also are part of our advanced services.

A certified women’s health breast navigator accompanies each woman on the journey from treatment to recovery and beyond.

For the advanced detection of other cancers, we have high-quality medical imaging technology including PET/CT, open and conventional MRI, and helical CT scanning.

Sacred Heart Cancer Care treats more lung cancer than any other malignancy followed by breast, colorectal, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, melanoma, skin, bladder and thyroid cancers. When caught early, lung cancer is highly treatable. At Sacred Heart, we use low-dose CT to screen for lung cancer, a proven diagnostic tool to improve the detection of lung cancer in high-risk adults. To schedule a lung screening, please call 850-416-5864 (LUNG).
