For your convenience and privacy, we strongly encourage all patients to pre-register. You can pre-register by calling 607-584-5515, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Lourdes Diagnostic Imaging provides state-of-the-art imaging services to the Southern Tier which includes an open MRI system; a 640-slice CT scanner; a  completely digital X-ray department and two new flouroscopy machines. The latest in imaging technology means lower doses of radiation, faster processing of images, and the highest in image quality. A special waiting area for inpatients allows for private, comfortable, preparation of exams and is staffed by a registered nurse.

Specialties

Diagnostic Imaging includes several sub-sections of specialty including:

  • General Radiology, including digital X-ray, trauma and fluoroscopy procedures
  • Interventional Radiology, which assists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Ultrasound, which uses high frequency sound waves to image various parts of the body.
  • Breast Imaging, including mammography and ultrasound
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), which uses a large magnet, radiofrequency signals and computers to produce magnetically generated images. If you are scheduled for an MRI procedure, you must complete an MRI Screening Form. For your safety, you must disclose the presence of any metal objects or fragments in your body. Failing to provide proper disclosure could result in serious injury. Please download and complete the MRI Screening Form and bring it with you to your appointment. Please contact your physician if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Computed Axial Tomography (CT), which uses cross-sectional views to create a multidimensional view of the body. This includes cardiac scoring.
  • Positron Emission Tomography (PET) in which images demonstrate the chemistry of organs and other tissues such as tumors
  • Nuclear Medicine, which uses small amounts of radioactive materials to document organ function and structure.
