Treating all Aspects of the Eating Disorder

Restricting food intake, exercising excessively and purging food (vomiting) can cause serious health problems and even death. Our medical team specializes in treating all aspects of these conditions:

  • Anorexia nervosa
  • Bulimia
  • Binge eating disorder

If you are concerned about a loved one, be watchful for these symptoms:

  • Preoccupation with food, weight or body shape
  • Weighing daily or several times a day
  • Eating larger-than-normal quantities of food in a short period of time
  • Maintaining a rigid exercise plan to burn calories
  • Excessive calorie restriction
  • Feeling lonely, anxious, depressed or nervous

An inpatient assessment and outpatient services are available. Our care team includes doctors, counselors, therapists, and registered dietitians. We work together to treat the cause of the eating disorder. You’ll get the tools to identify triggers and avoid relapsing. Patient and family education sessions include information about healthy weight, exercise and meal planning.
