Ascension welcomes family and friends of our patients. We’ve provided the information below to help make your visit convenient and comfortable.
Guests visit Ascension Wisconsin locations for many reasons: to visit a family member or friend, to welcome a newborn addition to the family, to accompany a loved one to an appointment and more.
With a network of 26 clinics, three hospitals and a health plan, Ascension Wisconsin wants to make sure visitors know where our buildings are, how to contact patients and other common questions.
To ensure the comfort of all hospital patients, please limit visitors to four or fewer at one time.
Medical/Surgical visiting hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Children younger than 14 may visit when accompanied by an adult.
Pediatrics visiting hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Parents may visit anytime; they are also encouraged to stay overnight.
Nursing staff may customize an individual patient's visiting hours based on the patient's needs.
- Parents of pediatrics patients are encouraged to visit anytime and/or stay overnight.

- Coronary/intensive care patient visitors are restricted to family members and clergy only.
- Nursing staff may customize an individual patient's visiting hours based on the patient's needs.
Visitors are asked to park their vehicles in the parking lot off Memorial Drive.
The meditation room provides family members a private place to relax, rest or meditate. Check with the medical/surgical nurse for location and availability.
Public rest rooms are located near the front lobby entrance.
A comfortable solarium lounge is located across from the medical/surgical nurse’s station.
Calumet Medical Center is a smoke-free campus.
Cell phones are allowed inside the hospital wherever a "Cell Phone Friendly" sign appears.

Ascension Calumet Gift Shop has a variety of gift items available. Our unique selection includes:

The gift shop sells gift certificates in any amount, if you would rather let someone pick out their own gift.
The gift shop is a major fundraiser of the Ascension Calumet Volunteers organization. Proceeds support the Volunteers’ annual donation to the hospital.
