Ascension welcomes family and friends of our patients. We’ve provided the information below to help make your visit convenient and comfortable.
Mass is available to St. John Medical Center patients and their families and friends in the medical center's main chapel, adjacent to McDougal Auditorium. Services are at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sunday and holidays, and 7 and 11:30 a.m. on holy days. Televised services are also available on Channel 50 in patient rooms.
St. John offers high-speed wireless internet access free of charge to patients and guests. If your computer or handheld device is Wi-Fi enabled, you can connect to the internet wirelessly in designated access areas. Look for “AH-GUEST” under your wireless options to access our system.
Service animals, as defined by the American Disability Act, are welcome in public areas of the hospital, or limited patient care areas, as long as the service animals can be with the handler/or handler designee at all times while in the hospital. Animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times.
In support of our mission to provide medical excellence, the St. John Health System offers language interpretive services to individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP), sign language interpreters or telecommunication devices for the deaf (TDD), and other reasonable communicative accommodations for those individuals with sensory disabilities (hearing, vision and/or speech) or cognitive.
Parking has never been easier at St. John Medical Center. Our valet service means never searching for a parking space - or your vehicle - again. Conveniently located at the east entrance circle drive, our expert staff will park and retrieve your vehicle at no charge.
Valet services are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you need to stay at St. John past 5 p.m., you may retrieve your vehicle by stopping by the St. John Security office, located on the first floor across from the gift shop.
