Community Benefit Reports
Since 1889, Ascension Borgess has served as an active partner and supporter in communities throughout southwest Michigan.
It’s part of our calling and speaks to our Mission as a Catholic health ministry rooted in the values of Ascension and its sponsors. We are steadfast in our commitment to provide holistic, person-centered and spiritually-centered care, which strives to improve the health of individuals in communities we serve, with special attention to the poor and vulnerable.
Report to Our Community
Our dedication and commitment to the communities we serve run deep. Learn how we've impacted the community by downloading our Community Report. Inside, you'll learn about such initiatives as the Tree of Love, a campaign to assist women with breast health services, various community health screenings, our support for local food pantries and more.
Community Health Needs Assessment
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 requires nonprofit, tax-exempt hospitals to assess the healthcare needs of their communities and to adopt an implementation strategy to address the needs identified every three years. Please see below for current CHNA documentation
