Ascension St. Vincent Bennett Rehabilitation Center offers both traditional and highly specialized inpatient rehabilitation services.
Bennett Rehabilitation Center is a 13-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the 2nd floor of Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Hospital. We are thrilled to be the only acute rehabilitation provider in Madison County. We provide a full range of services to meet the complex medical and physical needs of our patients while giving them the ability to stay close to home. We value the opportunity to work not only with patients, but also their family and friends, and to assure a safe and successful discharge to home.

Acute rehabilitation is a team approach that focuses on the individual needs of each patient. Our physical, occupational and speech therapists, nurses, and specially trained rehabilitation medicine physicians are committed to healing body, mind, and spirit. They also specialize in the therapeutic treatment of specific conditions.
Our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team consists of the following specialists:

- Registered dietitian
Comprehensive Medical Care
Our inpatient acute rehab facility provides a wide range of therapeutic services for many types of conditions including:
- Brain-Spine injuries
- Orthopedic injuries, fractures, hip and joint replacement
- Neuromuscular disorders (such as Parkinson’s Disease)
- Post-organ transplant
- Pulmonary disease and dysfunction (such are COPD)
- Cardiovascular diseases
- Other medically disabling conditions
Special capabilities include dialysis, education and care of new tracheostomies and other abdominal ostomies, and negative pressure wound therapy using vacuum-assisted closures (V.A.C®).
Bennett Rehabilitation Center is an intensive rehab facility where patients receive a minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day 5 out of 7 days per week. Length of stay depends on the patient's diagnosis and progress toward individualized goals. Average length of stay is around 7-12 days.
