Providence Urgent Care Center in northeast Washington, DC provides walk-in appointments for illness and minor injuries.

Providence Urgent Care provides primary care for acute illness and minor injuries to Northeast Washington, DC communities. We listen to understand your health concerns, so you get the care that is right for you. The health of you and your family is our priority.

Our doctors and care teams specialize in family medicine, a type of primary care that provides ongoing healthcare for patients of all ages.

Walk-in care in your neighborhood

For non-life-threatening situations that require immediate attention, our Urgent Care clinic provides extended hours in the evenings and weekends. Reserve a treatment time online. We offer online appointment scheduling, so you can relax at home until it's time to come in. Simply go online and choose your estimated arrival time. 

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or call 911. Signs or symptoms of an acute emergency may include shortness of breath, chest pain, open fracture, fainting, severe bleeding, head injury or other major trauma, one-sided weakness or numbness, loss of consciousness or fainting, severe abdominal pain, or bites or stings.

Our doctors and care teams are available evenings and weekends to treat non-emergency health concerns, including fever, cold and flu, complications from chronic illnesses such as diabetes or hypertension, or other minor illnesses and injuries.

Our care team takes the time to know you and your family and to learn about your family’s health history. This information is important to help identify health risk factors.

In addition to caring for individual acute illness and injury, we provide services to help promote better family health, including:

  • Adult (senior) medical care, including high blood pressure and high cholesterol
  • Health prevention and dietary guidance
  • Pediatric well-child care and immunizations
  • Physicals: Annual, school, sports, DOT/CDL
