A Comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) provides the general public and policy leaders with data and information on the local health status of the communities we serve and existing resources to address health issues.
The CHNA uses a community-driven approach that supports the hospital in planning and carrying out community-based programming to more effectively handle the health needs of underserved and vulnerable populations.
The in-depth report help the hospital and community partners make decisions about the future of healthcare and prevention in their areas by identifying how their communities compare to the state on many dimensions of health. The findings point out several major health issues facing our communities, including levels of obesity, access to health care, and mental health.
Paper copies of the report are available at the Hospital upon request by calling 251-266-1600.
