About Us

Fitness One Nineteen combines the most popular group exercise classes and a large fitness floor with specialists dedicated to listening to you.

For more than a decade, St. Vincent’s One Nineteen has been providing a fully integrated approach to healthcare by offering an award-winning fitness center in addition to our medical services to help care for the whole person. Our degreed and nationally certified fitness specialists will provide you with one-on-one coaching during the early stages of your membership and our fitness team will continue to guide you throughout your fitness journey.  St. Vincent’s One Nineteen has a wide range of fitness and wellness services designed to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

Fitness services include:

The St. Vincent’s One Nineteen Aquatics Center includes a six-lane, 25-yard exercise pool, a warm therapy pool and a 12-seat whirlpool. Our 92-degree therapy pool serves those with specific orthopedic limitations. Members use our 104-degree whirlpool to massage and relax muscles after workouts. Members might also access the saunas and steam rooms in our upscale locker room area, just a few steps from the Aquatics Center.

The Center is open to all fitness members. Members may enjoy independent water exercise, join a class or swim laps. Our aquatics and fitness specialists are available to prescribe a specific exercise routine for any member. Aquatic exercise is an excellent, low-impact activity for those dealing with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other orthopedic concerns. 

Our Aquatics Center also hosts swim lessons in private or group settings, for all ages, at any level. Members may access the pool for lap swim and family swim times. Those times, reserved for members’ convenience, are posted quarterly. 

Personal trainers
Personal Training is a great investment in your health. Personal trainers assess and evaluate your fitness goals to make specific adjustments throughout your workout. Trainers provide professional step-by-step guidance, encouragement, and motivation. 

To achieve each member’s healthy goals, Fitness One Nineteen’s professional fitness trainers can design a customized exercise program focused on the individual’s strengths and needs.Each trainer is degreed in an exercise-related field. Each is professionally certified. Each regularly attends continuing education courses. Combining the latest exercise science research with proven techniques, these professionals can design a safe and effective workout for every age and stage.

Group exercise classes
Our professionals help members reach their fitness goals in one-on-one or group settings. Members are urged to mix up their workout routines, challenge themselves, and most of all, have fun. 

With more than 80 group exercise classes per week -- including Spinning, yoga, cardio and strength training -- members are sure to find multiple “just right” options. 

OneTeam Program
One-on-one support to simplify your journey to better health. Backed by the expertise of St. Vincent’s Health System and Ascension, award-winning Fitness One Nineteen is transforming the future of wellness with our OneTeam approach. For less than $1 a day, we now offer a personal health team focused solely on helping you achieve better health. You’ll work hand-in-hand with your own health advisor and fitness specialist on a personalized plan to help you best succeed on your journey to better health.

Sports Performance Program 
Our Sports Performance program focuses on strength and power development, linear speed, change of direction, foot speed, plyometrics, and flexibility for enhanced performance. By utilizing scientifically based training principles with proven results, our program equips participants to reach their full athletic abilities. Call 205-408-6544 to register.
