Read below for a message from Ascension Seton.

At Ascension Seton our top priority is the health and safety of our patients, providers, associates, and communities. As cases of COVID-19 increase across the U.S., Ascension continues to aggressively respond to this evolving situation to protect our associates and those who we are privileged to serve. We regularly treat patients with infectious diseases and our clinical teams are highly trained in infection prevention protocols. Ascension is closely monitoring COVIDÔÇÉ19 developments and working daily in partnership with our local and state health departments and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

After much discernment regarding the best course of action to limit possible exposure to this virus and in an abundance of caution, we have decided it is in the best interest of our associates and the community to temporarily postpone or reschedule to an online platform all upcoming hospital maternity tours and classes, until further notice.  We will share relevant updates with you by email. In the meantime, please visit www.setonbaby.com to watch a video tour of our maternity unit.

Postpartum Connection

When we are just becoming parents we have questions.

When we have just given birth, things can seem a little upside down.

We have lots of big feelings, physical discomforts, confusion, doubt.

We can get answers, advice, and find comfort in a group of others who are going through the same thing.

Join us once every week for 6 weeks as we discuss and share things that are important to you.  We will commiserate, learn, and grow together.

  • This group is about getting some information and guidance from your mama mentor/moderator, but even more importantly it’s about sharing challenges and wisdom with each other and finding comfort in your common ground.

  • Topics can range from our favorite postpartum clothes and nursing bras and baby goods to what intimacy with our partners is like (or not like) these days.  We will discuss our biggest fears and most embarrassing moments.  Nothing is off limits.

This group is NOT for partners.  What happens in the group stays in the group.  This is your time to say whatever you want in a very safe space.  The group will be closed for registration after the first session so you will be continuing your journey with the same people you begin with and get to know each other a little more each week.  Babies are welcome.
