Breastfeeding Success is pleased to announce that "Newborn Care" will be offered as a real-time, virtual class during the times and dates listed below with Sarah Etheridge. Sarah is a Waco-based Childbirth Educator, Lactation Specialist, and Labor RN with a vocation in walking with new parents through the many different experiences that take place as their sweet baby makes its way into the world. We believe that during this time of social distancing it is imperative that parents are able to establish and maintain community support. Participants will be contacted with a Google Meet invite for the Q&A portion of the class. Registration is still open. Please call 512-808-0237 with any questions or for help with scheduling. We look forward to seeing you in class!
At Ascension Providence our top priority is the health and safety of our patients, providers, associates, and communities. As cases of COVID-19 increase across the U.S., Ascension continues to aggressively respond to this evolving situation to protect our associates and those who we are privileged to serve. We regularly treat patients with infectious diseases and our clinical teams are highly trained in infection prevention protocols. Ascension is closely monitoring COVID‐19 developments and working daily in partnership with our local and state health departments and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
After much discernment regarding the best course of action to limit possible exposure to this virus and in an abundance of caution, we have decided it is in the best interest of our associates and the community to temporarily postpone or reschedule to an online platform all upcoming hospital maternity tours and classes, until further notice. We will share relevant updates with you by email. In the meantime, please visit www.providencetxbaby.com to watch a video tour of our maternity unit.
