From Belly to Birth: Q&A and Talk Time is a free weekly virtual/live check-in with a Childbirth Educator. It is a great opportunity for expectant parents to chat about labor, birth, and the postpartum period with our Childbirth Mentor and Educator, Ali Weatherford. We meet every Friday from 1-2pm. It is a continuum of our Belly to Birth childbirth education class and allows for deeper discussion of class topics and other aspects of birth and postpartum journey. Each week will feature a birth or postpartum topic to help expectant parents plan for their future. Participants can expect to meet other parents-to-be and create a community for their growing family.
The meeting uses Google Hangouts Meet and participants are encouraged to turn on their video as they connect with each other. Mobile users may have to download Google Meet app for their device. Once you're in, please announce yourself and then mute your phone. Background noise can make it difficult for everyone to hear the person speaking. Read below for a message from Ascension Seton.
At Ascension Seton our top priority is the health and safety of our patients, providers, associates, and communities. As cases of COVID-19 increase across the U.S., Ascension continues to aggressively respond to this evolving situation to protect our associates and those who we are privileged to serve. We regularly treat patients with infectious diseases and our clinical teams are highly trained in infection prevention protocols. Ascension is closely monitoring COVID‐19 developments and working daily in partnership with our local and state health departments and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
After much discernment regarding the best course of action to limit possible exposure to this virus and in an abundance of caution, we have decided it is in the best interest of our associates and the community to temporarily postpone or reschedule to an online platform all upcoming hospital maternity tours and classes, until further notice. We will share relevant updates with you by email. In the meantime, please visit www.setonbaby.com to watch a video tour of our maternity unit.
If your class required payment, a refund will be given if a cancellation request is received 3 business days (72 hours) prior to the start of the class/program. A full refund will be given for any class cancelled by the site.
